Morning all!
;bout damn time Friday rolled around.
I have boxes to open up tonight when I get home. Things have been so hectic with work this week and trying to get a few projects done at home (rearranging rooms - redid the living room, dining room, and working on the office/datacenter tonight - the Master and Spare bedroom is slated for this weekend) that I have received boxes, but not gotten a change to open them!
I think I know what is in all them as they came from Amazon, Andyman, and 316what - but you still need the thrill of being able to open them!
So damn excited!!!!!!!
finally got a cover pic!!!
(I know this means nothing to yuz guys, just bear with me 'till the 25th......I've been waiting 35 years to hear this )
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">*faints*SPIRIT ?THE GROUNDBREAKING L.A. COMBO EQUALLY swayed by moody jazz and Hendrix-style rock?n? roll?was born to record movie soundtracks. Unfortunately, they cut only one, for the seldom-seen 1969 Jacques Demy film Model Shop, but what a triumph it is: a magical blend of John Locke?s eerie keyboards, the soaring guitar of Randy California and Jay Ferguson?s impassioned vocals and percussion, backed by the rock-steady bass and drums of Mark Andes and Ed Cassidy. It?s mindboggling that something as dazzling as the Model Shop soundtrack?recorded by the classic Spirit lineup? has been languishing unreleased in the vaults for over 35 years! The stuff of longplaying-legends and vinyl-myths, this full-length album was recorded in late 1968, but the completed master was shelved before release. Rescued from obscurity at last by Sundazed, this much rumored film-score gem is now center-stage where it can take a much deserved bow.

Hey all. I'm heading into hour 32 of complete, wide-eyed awakeness (if that's a word ). Haven't been drinking, no huge amounts of caffeine (only 3 regular sized cokes during the whole time), don't do drugs of any kind. No friggin idea why I can't sleep. It's bizarre; I do not feel tired in the slightest.
it's spelled GIT'R done, morons!
